Simon worked as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Australia before specialising in improving team dynamics\, workplace\, and organisational cultures. \nThe book is easy to read and takes readers through a process of looking more closely at workplace practices to identify where opportunities for change exist. It outlines a generic model\, so its takeaway messages are suitable for anyone in any workplace where working with people for positive change is important.  \nParticipants in our Better Health Workplaces workshops can purchase the book for $28.75 plus postage (if required).\nNon-participants can purchase it for $34.50 plus postage (if required).

With no role-play!\nThe workshop focuses on building confidence to raise concerns\, give feedback and address challenges in ways that protect dignity\, relationships and psychological safety.\nParticipants reflect on real workplace situations and engage in discussion to explore practical approaches to having calm\, constructive conversations that prevent small issues from escalating.\n\nThis workshop contributes to healthier workplaces by supporting early intervention\, reduced stress and stronger working relationships. \n\n\nHow the learning supports:Ourselves – confidence\, emotional awareness and self-respectOthers – safe dialogue\, listening and mutual understandingOrganisation – reduced conflict\, stronger trust and improved wellbeing. \n\n\n\nThe Better Workplace series supports leaders\, staff and employers to be the best they can be at work. It gives an insight into what makes a workplace attractive for new staff\, and what might help current staff to stay.
