About This Service
Te Whatu Ora Wairarapa provides pharmacy services to inpatients within Wairarapa Hospital.
We do not dispense outpatient prescriptions except when completing a course of non-funded medication on discharge.
We support hospital staff by providing the following inpatient pharmacy services:
- Medicine supply
- Medicines information for hospital staff and patients
- Patient information on discharge
Our pharmacists regularly visit the inpatient wards to provide medication reviews, medicine management services and advice.
