Tū Hauoranga Trust is pleased to welcome Dr Andrew Lensen as our first speaker in the 2026 Connected Communities Series.
An AI specialist from Victoria University, Programme Director of Victoria University’s AI Lab and a private consultant. Andrew will lead a community conversation about his specialty AI work.
Dr Andrew Lensen is an award winner of the Critic and Conscience of Society award 2026 and is currently advocating for stronger regulation around AI to help protect Aotearoa New Zealand’s society.
He recently issued an open letter to lawmakers about using ‘AI for good’. regulateai.nz
