Workshop: Better Service to Others

April 17 @ 8:30 am12:30 pm
Free

Providing respectful, consistent and caring service

Better Service to Others – focuses on how people deliver service and care to clients, patients, whānau and colleagues. With no role-play!

The workshop explores how attitude, communication and behaviour shape experiences and influence trust, dignity and wellbeing.
Participants are encouraged to reflect on their role in creating positive experiences and to discuss practical ways to respond calmly and respectfully, even in challenging or emotional situations.

This workshop supports organisational and employment outcomes by strengthening professionalism, empathy and confidence in frontline and support roles.

How the learning supports:
Ourselves – confidence, self-management and professionalism
Others – empathy, respect and positive experiences
Organisation – improved service quality, trust and reputation.

The Better Workplace series supports leaders, staff and employers to be the best they can be at work. It gives an insight into what makes a workplace attractive for new staff, and what might help current staff to stay. People who develop at work help a workplace grow and improve – keeping everyone safe and confident in their relationships and in their roles.
